is a citrus tree that produces dark red grapefruit. Being the sweetest of its kind, it is a prime choice for grapefruit. However, it is one of the more difficult grapefruit trees to grow. It is susceptible to diseases, nutrient deficiencies, cold temperatures, and pest problems. Yet, when done well this grapefruit tree produces dark, juicy, seedless grapefruit. Unlike other grapefruit species. It rips mid to late season, February-June and stays sturdy on the tree even after ripe. This tree is shipped in 1-gallon containers & 3-gallon bare root.
