Fortunella margarita ‘Kumquat Nagami”
This is often called the sour or tart Kumquat. The fruits are deep orange, oval in shape and very ornamental. This evergreen tree is on standard trifoliata rootstock. It reaches 10-12 feet when grown outside and 5 to 6 feet when container grown. Harvest begins mid November and ripe fruits remain on the trees well. Plants are winter hardy to 15 to 17 degrees F, when dormant, fruits will freeze at 28F. Fruits are used in marmalades and jellies. Hardy in zones 9-10. This is a 3 gallon size tree and we ship it bare root. Sorry we cannot ship citrus trees to Arizona, Florida, Texas, Louisiana or California.
