Pink Serissa
Pink Serissa or Serissa japonica,
is a broadleaf evergreen that blooms pink & white flowers in the mid spring through early fall. There are so many flowers that it is often known for its other name Snowrose, giving it the appearance of snow sitting on the foliage. Even though it is evergreen the foliage will drop if the temperature goes below 40°F. This does not harm the plant and as long as temperatures remain stable the leaves will grow back in the spring. If the temperatures drop below 20°F, then the branches will die. It is best grown in areas where the temperature does not fluctuate drastically year-round. This shrub is very dense and grows 2-4ft tall and 3-5ft wide. It is commonly used for borders, foundations, or pathways. It grows in part sun & part shade and is best to avoid the hot sun in the afternoon. This plant is shipped in a 1-gallon container.
