Symphyotrichum novae-angliae ‘Purple Dome’
New England Aster is a naturally compact aster with deep purple flowers in fall. It stays under 2’ and is covered with dense clusters of purple daisy like flowers in fall. Combines beautifully with Solidago rugose ‘Fireworks’ and Black eyed Susans. Sun to filtered shade in moist to dry well drained soil. Good for butterflies, bees and birds. Hardy in zones 4-8. Plants are shopped in 3.5-inch containers.
