The Golden Hinoke Cypress or Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Crippsii’,
is a dwarf evergreen tree that has golden, yellow, and green pine leaves. This color really brightens up when sun light is directly hitting it giving it a rich color and because it is an evergreen this color stays throughout the year. It grows in full sun and partial shade and grows 10-15ft tall and 4-5ft wide using well drained moist loam soil. It has a hardiness of 4-8 so it can be planted almost the entire United States except for the extreme cold and hot. It is shipped in a 1-gallon container.
