Actinidia Deliciosa ‘Elmwood’
Elmwood is a fuzzy female kiwi that requires 400-700 chill hours. The fruit is large with a fuzzy brown skin and green flesh. It should be noted that a male variety must always be planted with female selections for proper pollination and fruiting. In general one male plant is needed for each nine females. We have labeled our pollinator as “Male Fuzzy”. Kiwi vines require a sturdy structure to grow on. The leaves are very large and showy. Plant in full sun in moist well drained soil. Hardy in zones 7-9. Plants are shipped in 1 gallon containers.
