Description

The Frost Owari Mandarin,

is a cold-hardy, vigorous easy to grow citrus tree that bearers many small, easy to peel, sweet, and medium size fruit.  The tree produces much fruit, drooping on the branches because of the weight from the fruit; however, the fruit is a smaller size and falls in the smaller category of typical citrus sizes.  It is an easy to grow plant and is hardy against colder climates to as low as 20 °F.  As long as the tree gets water, full sun, and is in well-drained soil, it takes minimal effort to bear fruit. The fruit can be ripe as early as October and through January, depending on the climate it grows in.  This combination of qualities makes it a great choice for any grower, especially for those who wish for reliability.  The flesh is bright orange and peels easily.  It has no seeds and a mild flavor.  The tree is a slow grower and the fruit fall from the branches after ripping.  It is shipped in 1-gallon containers & 3-gallon bare root.  We are sorry but we cannot ship citrus to Arizona, Florida, Texas, Louisiana or California due to Federal Law.
