Description
Dwarf Gardenia Radican or Gardenia Jasainoides ‘radican’,
grow 6-12in. tall and spreads to 2-3ft.. with small leaves; inch-wide double flowers bloom in summer. Good for small-scale ground cover pots. Not as cold hardy as the species; not well suited to Middle South. Radicans Variegata’ (‘Prostrata Variegata’) has gray-green leaves with white markings. It has a hardiness of 8-10 so it can only be planted in warmer areas of the United States. Plant it in light to moderate shade but also needs some space from other tree roots and water moderately. It is shipped in 1-gallon container.
