Prunus pyrifolia ‘Housi’
Housi is a delicious Asian pear with firm, crisp flesh and rust to brown skin that ripens July and August. It is well adapted to the south only requiring 450 chill hours. It will grow to be a 15-20 foot tree. Needs to be grown with another Asian pear for cross pollination. Hardy in zones 5-9. Plants are 3 gallon size and are shipped bare root.
