Magnolia Ashe Magnolia ashei
Magnolia Ashe is a small tree (less than 20- 30’ tall) with huge leaves (each up to 2 feet long) and huge fragrant white flowers up to 10 inches across (nothing is more beautifully fragrant than magnolias!). Loves to be in the shade of other trees but needs sun to flower. Likes moist well drained soil. Great specimen tree for a woodland garden or edge or even under larger trees in a front or back yard. Its huge leaves lend a tropical look to the garden. Hardy in zones 6-9. Plants are shipped in 1 gallon containers.l
