Description
Citrus unshiu Marcovitch ‘LA Early’
This satsuma mandarin orange is a product of the LSU AgCenter breeding program. It ripens in late September to mid October. The fruit is large, with light yellow thin leatherly skin and the taste is excellent with a juicy slightly acid flavor. The fruits are essentially seedless and the segments separate easily. When grown outdoors this tree will reach a height 20 feet. Can be grown in a container in locations where the winters are harsh. Plants are 3 gallon size trees and we ship them bare root. Sorry we cannot ship citrus trees to Arizona, Florida, Texas, Louisiana or California.
