Salvia officinalis ‘minimus’
This is a dwarf form of the culinary common sage. This sage handles humid conditions much better than the parent. Minimus grows to just 15 to 18 inches tall and wide. Leaves can be used either fresh or dried. Blue flower spikes appear in spring. Plant in full sun to partial shade in well drained soil. Drought tolerant and deer resistant. Hardy in zones 5-9. Plants are shipped in 3.5″ containers.
