Levisticum officinalle
Lovage is a culinary herb grown in the garden for the celery-like flavor of it leaves, roots and seeds. Leaves can be used in soups, salads and sauces. The roots can be grated and used to make tea. Small umbrels of tiny yellow flowers appear in spring. Height 3 to 6 feet with a spread of 2 to 3 feet. Hardy in zones 4-8. Plants are shipped in 3.5″ containers.
