Description
Vitis rotundifolia ‘Tara’
Tara a bronze muscadine was released from the University of Georgia. It was chosen because it has self-fertile flowers, good disease resistant and large fruit. The fruit ripens in August and September. Tara requires 200-600 hours of chilling. Use for jelly, juice, fresh eating and wine. Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Tara would make a good pollinator for your female muscadines. Hardy in zones 7-9. Plants are shipped in 1 gallon containers.
