Description
Vitis rotundifolia ‘Darlene’
Darlene produces very large pink/bronze muscadines in August and September. It is considered one of the best of the bronze because of the high sugar content in the fruit. Since Darlene is a female plant you will need a self-fertile variety in order to produce fruit. Good for juice, jelly and fresh eating. Hardy in zones 7-9. Needs 200-600 hours of chilling. Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Plants are shipped in 1 gallon containers.
