Vitis rotundifolia ‘Dixie Red’
Dixie red is a red/bronze self-fruitful muscadine. It needs no pollinator. If you only have room for one muscadine and want a bronze this is the one for you. It ripens in August and September. Good for juice, jelly, wine and fresh eating. Requires 200-600 hours of chilling. Hardy in zones 7-9. This would be a good choice to pollinate your female muscadines. Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Plants are shipped in 1 gallon containers.
