Hellopsis Hellantholdea’s Summer Sun,

is a solid yellow perennial that has radial blooms. It grows straight up to 2-3ft tall and 1-2ft wide. Its yellow petals surround a brown center and stand above the foliage looking similar to a sunflower and is often referred as a false sunflower.  The blooms appear throughout its straight stem leaving a ladder like structure that fills the inside and top of the perennial. These blooms last from June-August and is tolerate to drought and poor soil conditions. It will attract butterflies and birds. It grows best in full sun with dry to moist soil. It can handle some shade but to much shade and it will begin to lean over and will need support to stand up. It has a hardiness of 3-9 and is disease resistant. We ship this plant in a 1-gallon container.
