This red to dark purple fig is one of the most outstanding figs. The flavor is excellent. Has better shelf life than most varieties. Well adapted to South. Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Figs will grow in sandy as well as clay soils. A good container plant for your deck or patio. Self-fertile. Height 10 to 20 feet. Hardy in zones 8-10. Plants are shipped in a one gallon container.
