It grows best in full sun to part shade and well-drained soil, and they do well in the winter. While their blooms only last for about a day they produce multiple one day blooms through the season. This one in particular lasts from spring through summer. They are great for planting on slopes, rocky areas, used for boarders, or attracting butterflies. However, they attract deer as well.
