Belamcanda Chinensis
A relative of the iris family the Blackberry lily also known as leopard lily has slowly creeping rhizomes and sword shaped leaves. Sprays of 1 1/2 inch yellowish orange flowers dotted with red on 3 to 4 foot stems appear in late summer. The flowers are followed by large seed capsules that open to reveal large black seeds that resemble blackberries. Full sun to part shade. Perennial Zone 5-10. Plants are shipped in 3 1/2 inch containers.
