Callicarpa dichotoma ‘Dwarf Beautyberry’
Most graceful and arching of the beautyberries. Pink flowers in summer and lilac-violet fruit are borne in clusters in September and November. Will grow in well drained soil, in full sun to part shade. If plants become overgrown cut to within 6 inches of the ground in late winter and fertilize. Plants will regrow and flower and fruit in the same year. Good in mass plantings, bird gardens, foundation plantings. Height 4 feet tall and wide. Hardy Zones 5-8. Plants are shipped in 1 gallon containers.
