Quince Double White
is a deciduous shrub that produces white saucer shaped blooms. These blooms climb with the stem so that there is color from bottom to top of the shrub. It is a early spring bloomer leading the way for many other spring bloomers to follow. Its color pops out so much that it can be spotted a mile away. While these are spring bloomers, sometimes they will produce blooms in the fall. Prune dead branches any time. If done in the spring it will improve it shape in the spring and future blooms the following season. The buds are susceptible to frost so protection will be needed. It grows 4-5 ft tall and 5-6 ft wide. It grows best in full sun to part shade & well drained soil. It can tolerate deer, drought, and erosion. We ship this plant in a 1-gallon container.
