Description

Spiraea x bumalda ‘Anthony Waterer’

Clump forming decidous shrub with erect shoots.  Lance-shaped, sharply toothed dark green leaves. Anthony Waterer, a summer flowering spirea, has dark pink flowers and leaves that are occasionally margined with cream. The camine pink flowers are often 4 to 6-inches wide. Leaves turn a reddish in the fall.  Deer tolerant and attracts butterflies. Tolerant of air pollution and clay soils.  Plant in full sun in moist soil. Height 2- 4 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide.  Hardy in zones 4-9.  Plants are shipped in 1 gallon containers.
