is a southeastern native perennial that blooms yellow radial petals. It is in the same family as black-eyed Susan and is called by that name, yet it varies from what many people think when they hear black-eyed Susan. It has a yellow center that as it matures turns green. It is one of the largest rudbeckia blooms and blooms from early summer till first frost. It is great for boarders with its massive number of blooms and provides plethora amount of color during the season. It grows best in full sun with well-drained soil. It does not tolerate non drainable soil well. It is heat, drought, and deer tolerant which makes it easy for hot summer days where you want some color it is too hot outside to water. It attracts butterflies. We ship this plant in a 4in container.
