Description
Rosa viridiflora ‘Green Rose’
This is a very interesting rose one that has possibly been in cultivation since 1743. The flowers, which are not flowers at all but sepals, are small up to 2 in. across, multipetaled and green with occasional bronze blushes. They cover the 3 to 4 ft bush constantly through the growing season. Those interested in floral arranging usually find this rose irresistable for its “greenery”. Hardy in zone 6-9 Plants are shipped in 1 gallon containers.
