Juniper Blue Point

Juniper Blue Point or Juniperus Chinensis ‘Blue Point’

is an evergreen shrub that only grows 7′ tall and 5′ wide.  It grows in a pyramid structure giving it a look of other cypress trees but on a much smaller scale.  It is good for hedging because it never loses its leaves, being the center of some garden designs, and useful for a windbreaker for other smaller plants that may need the cover.  It grows in full sun.  It has a hardiness of 4-9 making it available in most states of the US.  It tolerates dry soil.  This plant ships in a 1-gallon container.
