$7.95

Imperial Blue or Plumbago,

is a perennial with light blue tubular forming petals. Here in Alabama, it grows 2-3ft tall and 1-3ft wide due to the climate. It only grows in the summer and with our heat stunts the growth. In more tropical climates it will grow 6-15ft tall and 6-8ft wide. The blooms grow in clusters surfacing the top of the stems that they grow on producing lots of blue color in large clusters, providing a lot of blue color that many other plants don’t provide. It blooms summer through fall. Grows best in full sun to part shade and in well-drained soil. It is useful for hedges, mass planting, containers, and even as a house plant. Do not consume as any part of the plant is poisonous to humans. Plants are ship in a 4in container.
