Hydrangea quercifolia ‘Pee Wee’
An oakleaf hydrangea with a more compact growing habit with smaller leaves and flowers. The conical shaped flowers bloom in early summer and turn pink later in the season and then dry to brown. The leaves turn a lovely burgundy in the fall. The tan bark exfoliates which makes for winter interest. This compact size makes it a good choice for foundation plantings and places where space is an issue. Plant in full sun or part shade. Height: 3 to 4 feet tall and wide. Hardy in zones 5-9. Plants are shipped in 1 gallon containers.
