Vitis lambrusca ‘Reliance’
Reliance is a self-fertile seedless pink bunch grape. It is well suited to fresh eating as well as for jelly. Requires 200-600 hours of chilling. Fruits ripen in July and August. Requires annual pruning. Reliance is not resistant to Pierce’s disease which kills French type grapes when grown from Birmingham south. Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Hardy in zones 4-8. Plants are shipped in 1 gallon containers.
