Echinacea purpurea
This easy to grow native blooms from summer to frost with pink flowers. Also known as coneflower. The butterfilies love the flowers and the birds love the seeds. Plant in full sun to light shade. Very drought and heat tolerant. Lovely in perennial borders, native plant gardens and wildflower gardens. Height: 2 to 4 feet. Hardy in zones 3 through 8. Plants are shipped in 3.5″ containers.
