Daylily Stella de Oro

Daylily Stella d Orn or Hemerocallis ‘Stella de Oro’

is a dwarf size daylily that grows golden trumpet shaped lilies.  Daylilies grow upright standing above the foliage.  This plant matures at a smaller height of 1ft and 1ft wide.  It grows best in medium moisture, well-drained soil, full sun to part shade, and keeping it watered to make sure the blooms don’t dry up.  It can tolerate the summer heat and humidity.  In the winter they require a dormancy period in order for the blooms to be most attractive.  Sadly, these blooms only come out for one day so the gardener must be attentive to that time frame, yet this plant will produce multiple blooms that will continue producing these one-day blooms from late spring into late summer.  It attracts butterflies and has a great fragrence. We ship this plant in a 1-gallon container.
