is beautiful pinkish-red bloomed perennial that is white tipped with periodic white lines coursing through the petals. It can also be the opposite where it has white as its dominant color with pinkish-red periodic lines coursing through.  It is a great flower for showy areas in the garden, having summer blooms, and used as a cut flower.  It blooms summer to early fall.  It needs protection from strong winds as it grows 3-4ft tall and 1-2ft wide, making it a skinny plant that can be pushed by the strong wind. It grows best in full sun with some dappled light in the summer, with well-drained soil.  Gardeners often lift these plants in the winter but are not needed in 8-11 hardiness zone.  We ship this plant in a 1-gallon container.
