Chamaecyparis Thyiodes ‘Red Star’
Red Star has a columnar habit with dense feathery frosted blue-green evergreen foliage in summer that turns a brick red to deep purple in winter. A slow growing selection that is good for container planting. Plant in full sun can tolerate some wet conditions. Height: 20 feet tall and 12 feet wide at maturity. Hardy in zones 4-9. Plants are shipped in 1 gallon containers.
