Caryopteris Bluebeard

Bluebeard or Caryopteris x Clandonensis ‘Blue Mist,

is a deciduous shrub that blooms beautiful blue tubular flowers.  They grow abundantly in clusters out from the sides of a straight stem.  It grows 2-3ft tall and 2-3ft wide and blooms in the middle of the summer into early fall.  It grows best needs in full sun, medium moisture, well-drained soil, but does tolerate some dry conditions while not tolerating wet conditions.  It is fragrant and attracts butterflies with their bloom.
