Malus domestica ‘Spur Granny Smith
Same delicious apple with the wonderful tart flavor on a smaller spur bearing tree. Spur trees have an upright growth habit with stiff limbs that reduce breakage and allows the branches to hold more fruit. A good tree for the home gardener because if it’s smaller size. Our trees are grafted on EMLA 106 rootstock and will be 8-12 feet tall at maturity. Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Requires 1050 hours of chilling.
