$15.00

Callicarpa Americana,

Is a shrub that typically grows 3 to 6ft.  with arching branches and has large oval-shaped leaves that turn yellow in the fall.  They grow Magenta colored berries across the stem in clusters, that remain on the plant long after the leaves have fallen.  These fruits each contain 2 to 4 seeds and begin to ripen in August or September.  They have a Hardiness from 7-11, so they must be planted in the warmer areas of the United States.  They also grow beautiful white, blue, violet, or pink flowers right before the fruits ripen, near where the fruits grow.  From the pictures, you will be able to tell why the American Beautyberry got its name.  These shrubs are shipped in 1-gallon containers.
