Kniphofia Red Hot Poker
This plant is known by several different names, Red Hot Poker, Torch Lily and Tritoma. Orange and yellow flowers in spring rise on 3 foot tall spikes with strap shaped leaves. The flowers produce quite a bit of nectar and are very attractive to bees. Plant in full sun. Hardy in zones 6-10. Plants are shipped in 4″ and 1-gallon containers.
