The Red Bud Pussy Willow will grow in virtually any soil. Yellowish brown to dark brown stems are studded with purple-brown buds that open to expose soft, furry, grayish male catkins in February, letting the home gardener know that Spring is just around the corner! This deciduous shrub will make a handsome accent to any home garden! Good dried or cut flower. Plant in full sun and moist soil. Height 12 to 15 feet tall and wide. Hardy in zones 4-8. Plants are shipped in 1-gallon containers.
