Salvia elegans ‘Pineapple Sage’
Sweet pineapple-scented foliage forms clumps of 2 to 3 ft. across and then is covered with bright red flowers in fall. A butterfly and hummingbird favorite, it makes a statement in the fall. Leaves may be used in beverages and teas. Chopped leaves make a nice addition to salads. Makes a good cut flower. Hardy in zones 8-11. Plants are shipped in 3.5″ containers.
