Ruellia ‘Purple’
This plant tolerates a wide range of growing conditions. Ruellia is heat and humidity tolerant and can grow in very moist areas or in standing water. It is a excellent choice for a marginal water garden plant which can grow in up to 6″ of water. An excellent groundcover for average to moist gardens. In areas where it is not perennial it is an excellent annual for containers. Purple flowers from June through September. Full sun to part shade. Hardy in zones 8-10. Plants are shipped in 3.5″ containers.
