Salvia Leucantha

One of our favorite perennial salvias, this tall late summer into fall flowering showstopper always gets lots of comments at the shop. Producing velvety blue and white blooms in spikes above the foliage, the flowers last about a month. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.  Use it in cottage gardens, beds and borders and is also a good cut flower. Plant in full sun to part sun in well-drained soil.  It will not take wet soils in the winter. Height: 3 to 6 feet with a spread of 2 to 4 feet. Perennial in zones 8-11.  Plants are shipped in 3.5-inch containers.
