Salvia Leucantha
One of our favorite perennial salvias, this tall late summer into fall flowering show-stopper always gets lots of comments at the shop. Producing velvety blue and white blooms in spikes above the foilage, the flowers last about a month. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Use it in cottage gardens, beds and borders and is also a good cut flower. Plant in full sun to part sun in well drained soil. It will not take wet soils in the winter. Height: 3 to 6 feet with a spread of 2 to 4 feet. Perennial in zones 8-11. Plants are shipped in 3.5 inch containers.
