Lavendula x intermedia ‘grosso’
This large lavender likes full sun and grows to a height of 2 or 3 feet. It has large dark violet aromatic flowers in summer as well as mid green fragrant foliage turning grey towards the end of the season. It is used as an ornamental or hedging plant, as well as for fragrant oil purposes. Flowers can be dried and used in cookies and cakes and also in sachets and potpourris. Drought tolerant and deer resistant. Attracts butterflies. Hardy zone 5-8. Plants are shipped in 3.5″ containers.
