Stachys Byzantina ‘Helen Von Stein’

Also known as ‘Big Ears’ for the very large grayish-white felted green leaves.  This mat forming perennial makes a good ground cover or edging plant and provides texture in rock gardens and perennial borders. The leaves are evergreen here in our zone 8.  This selection is more tolerant of heat and humidity and will rarely flower.  Drought, deer and rabbit tolerant.  Height 8 to 12 inches with a 1 to 2 foot spread.  Perennial in zones 6-9. Plants are shipped in 4″ and 1-gallon containers.
