Hosta ‘St. Elmo’s Fire’
Leaves emerge in spring with buttery yellow centers that darken to light green with white margins. Showy lavender flowers appear in mid-summer on 24″ scapes. The flowers are very attractive to hummingbirds. Hostas look wonderful mixed with other shade perennials in the shade garden, shady border or woodland garden. Height: 16 inches with a spread of 30 inches. Plant in shade to part shade in moist well drained soil. Perennial in zones 3-9. Plants are shipped in 3.5 inch containers.
