Digitalis x Mertonensis ‘Strawberry’
A robust clump-forming biennial or short lived perennial with dark green leaves that form a rosette at the base of the plant. The rose pink bell shaped bloons with black spots are produced on tall spires in spring. The flowers are excellent for cutting. This plant makes an archectictural statement in the flower border, cottage garden or woodland garden. Attracts hummingbirds and is deer resistant. Height: 2 to 3 feet tall and 1 to 2 feet wide. Plant in part shade in moist well drained soil. Perennial in zones 3-9. Plants are shiped in 3.5 inch containers.
