Salvia madrensis
Native to the Sierra Madre mountain range in Mexico, Salvia Madrensis is a yellow flowered salvia that grows in a spreading clump. It is about 5 to 6 feet tall and has very distictive square stems with large heart shaped bright green leaves. Bright yellow flowers appear in early fall through frost. This is a show stopper when in bloom. Hardy in zones 7-11. Plants are shipped in 3.5″ containers.
