Echinacea purpurea ‘Bravado’
This selection has flower heads 4-4 1/2 inches across. Unlike the native echinaceas the rosy red petals are held out straight making the flower look even bigger. A good cut flower with the added benefit of attracting bird and butterflies. Heat and drought tolerant once established. Deer resistant. Good in the middle of perennial border, wildflower gardens and native plant area. Plant in full sun in well drained soil. Height: 4 feet tall and width 18 inches. Plants are perennial in zones 3-9. Plants are shipped in 3.5 inch pots.
