Trachelospermum jasminoides ‘Confederate Jasmine’
Confederate Jasmine or Star Jasmine can perfume your whole garden with its phlox-like flowers that bloom in spring and summer. The new leaves are a glossy green and the older leaves are a dark rich green about 3″ long. The plant can be grown as a vine or groundcover. Good on fences, a trellis or in larger areas as a groundcover. This plant has gained the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Merit. Plant in full sun to part shade in rich well drained soil. Height: up to 20 feet or to a depth of 12 ro 18-inches as a groundcover. Hardy in zones 8-11. Plants are shipped in 1 gallon containers.
