Many folks have fond memories of picking wild blackberries along fence rows and in meadows where they thrive. Usually these memories include encounters with chiggers and snakes. Perhaps the most lasing memory is that of eating grandmom’s wild blackberry cobbler. Today we grow improved varieties of blackberries in our gardens with Kiowa being the most important. We produce blackberries using a special production/trellis system. When possible we invite you to visit our gardens to harvest some of our quality berries in a comfortable atmosphere. When the harvest is past we hope you continue to enjoy our fruit in this special jam.
